Thinking about using this blog to Write out ideas for a book

You know I have been told that I can tell a good story...of course this has been told to me in person -rather than in writing. SO Ithink I would like to challenge myself to be able to write better. Blogging can certainly help me to acomplish that.
SOme ideas I have for a blog that could one day turn into a book are:
1. My job - the ins and outs of what a day in the life of a banker is really like.
2. A thirty-something gal (mio), who has big dreams - will they every come to fruition?
3. The stories of Family, past - present - prediction for future?
4. The look inside the life of a Federal Correctional Officer -from inside a federal penetitary.

SO who knows - maybe all 4 will appear through-out.
OR maybe it will be another of my fleeting attempts to amuse myself - that never goes past doing just that - being an amusing thought.
